WELCOME TO THE ROCKET PIMPS APP

Vocalist Lars Hollergan and bassist Lum Vanfleeg, first met and hit it off in prep school in late 1985 in Saddlebrook, NJ. Not satisfied with a privileged life in the upper middle class of suburbia. Lars and Lum hatched a plan to create an outlet for their frustrations. And Rocket Pimps was born. Add in drummer Drew Whitmore III, whom the pair met while working at the Gap in Union, and Tang Du Phuong on lead guitar, who they met when he stole their van, the band was complete.
